Hi Ladies, I thought I'd stop lurking and say 'Hi'
I'm 38 with 3 kiddo's and have been dealing with PCOS for soooo long. Of course, I didn't get diagnosed until I wanted to have kids.
I did the C25K a few years ago and started to feel fit. Although I didn't lose an extreme amount of weight, I guess it fixed my hormones and I got pregnant with #3. LOL
Our family moved, almost a year ago, to a more rural location and now I can't just get out and walk with a stroller anymore. (I hate workout videos) So, I have to have DH home if I want to get out. I've gained a bunch of weight and I'm feeling blah.
I'm loving the IR Diet thread. I recently discovered I like whole grain Eggo's with ricotta cheese (and a touch of honey) and instant oatmeal with extra walnuts. I've given up sugary drinks...3 weeks now and it's been not too bad. I also have given up chocolate--it's a binge food for me.
I don't have a scale, but I'm 5' 3" and am wearing about size 16-18...I really want to feel comfortable in a bathing suit this summer...
