Astrophe - I am waiting on AF too. I was so concerned about this whole baby thing that I didn't think to ask the doctor about AF
Do I skip a month now that I have 1 ovary or does the right ovary work twice as hard? Guess I should Google that. =\ I hate Googling stuff lol
Nicoyaangel -- ugh, hang in there! I'm not really as ragey, but I'm still waiting on my AWOL TOM. 91 days and counting. I am checking the days til my endoc appt!
Emwales -- hang in there with your waiting too!
Checking In:
I have bad allergies today. My eyes are red and my nose is terrible. I just took a pill so hopefully it will chill out a bit.
astrophe - so sorry bout the allergies!! I hate , hate, hate allergies!
Checking in: Lost 1.4 lbs this week, not the two I was expecting but after dropping 4.4 last week I will take it! hopefully next week will be a bit whoosh who knows?
SMS - That's awesome! A loss is a loss! Hope you getna bit more next week =)
Today was an AMAZING day for me! We went to the state fair. Did so much walking my feet hurt. They had fried everything. Zucchini, twinkles, snickers, fruity pebbles, cookie dough - ALL FRIED. So last year I admit I had some fried food. This year something went off in my head at that time! I was standing in line to get my fried Twinkie & as I stared more at the fried food in the window I thought to myself that looks disgusting. Then my fiancee said it doesn't look good. Then I went from booth to booth until I found something somewhat healthy. I remember watching the biggest loser and hearing Bob saying eat food with color. Each booth I went to had fried food. The brown was making my stomach turn. Finally I see Gyro's. Chicken, fresh lettuce, fresh tomato's & onions. So I ate that. It was delicious. I was so proud when I left that line. I DID get back in the fried Twinkie line only because my best friend that couldn't go this year asked me to bring her back a fried Twinkie. But I still didn't buy anything for me AND her Twinkie is still there. Ack! LOL On a mission to lose my next 5 lbs =D

thanks nicoy! I am trying to see it that way I just broke in to the 260's and I can't wait to get out of them already LOL I think this is my 3rd week seeing 26 I know im being impatient In my head I want to see the 250's cause once i see that (which has always been the big big number for me, like a turning point I guess, maybe midway point) My head goes once we hit 250 it will all be smoooooth sailing! Piece of cake! I think that mentality comes from as soon as I break in to the 240's I have then lost more than I have left to lose so it's like the final stretch...all a mental game I guess. I know consciously I will probably go till 170 or something but to be that close to goal would be AMAZING I don't remember ever being in the 250's or even the 260's really maybe when I was 13 and didnt weight I might have been there but never at a time where I saw the numbers I was always 275 and above. As far as your nsv WTG!!! thats awesome! Though I think I might have gone for the fried zucchini! I am a huge zucchini lover! Wish I could say I avoided fried stuff today HAHA but sadly NOPE! Keep up the AMAZING work!
SMSDREAMER2007: 1.4 lbs is great! I get bored of seeing 270's too -- I know what you mean about wanting to shift down to the next "decade."
Nicoyaangel: Glad the fair was fun! And you managed the fried food situation so well!
My Check In:
The allergist tomorrow! I can't wait! Hooray! Fix my nose! Get rid of these itching eyes!
I fixed my ticker and noted the -1 lb from last week.
It might be more but I'm having a hard time keeping the sodium down lately. I'm not going to worry about it -- just drinking lots of water to help flush it out.
TOM still missing but I'm doing better mood wise -- not feeling all hormonal and crazy.
SMS - I know what you mean!! Just take it a little at a time and eventually you will get there =) I am rooting for ya! And thank you! The deep fried cookie dough was delicious last year (believe it or not) but I really would like to get pregnant in the next year. That was my motivation
Astrophe - Thank you! I hope your allergies get better soon. I am in the sane boat. They are terrible.
Up early. Going to have lunch with a friend, laundry then going to thengym later. Really excited! =)
astrophe wtg on the 1 lb!! (and on allergist tomorrow yay!!) and I know what you mean bout the sodium, im tracking it lately to try to see a trend.
nicoy- Im sure it was! I can imagine LOL and gl on the pregnancy thing.
I have to say it, this is weird, I am used to being the weird one out all the time in every day life I mean literally no one else has pcos around me and they don't understand what im going through, how it affects me, they dont understand why I eat the way I do or even try to understand, anything like that, its odd and yet refreshing to not be online on here!
Ugh. Started new bcp yesterday. Feeling like crud today. Headaches, tenderness, just generally feeling yucky. I know it'll get better and this would've been easier had I not taken a 6 month "break" from bcp. I'll feel better once I adjust.
Also, had a moment (well, hour) of weakness and bought a big bag of candy, ate most of it and ate some French fries. Sigh. Eating lots of fresh veggie for dinner to try to recoup as much as possible. Fresh start tomorrow!
I'm finally back from my travels. Next week, I do another one, but it's shorter and to be honest, I ate like a freaking pig this past week that I am actually looking forward to eating healthy.
So, despite my piggy eating, my period came slightly early and I wonder if it had to do with the fact that I've been very low carb recently. I haven't been able to stick to my calories, but I've been avoiding the dreaded white carb, and avoiding wheat/gluten in general.
I suspect my mother has a sensitivity to it and I think I do too, so it's been interesting to see how avoiding it affects my health.
I didn't lose weight, but getting my period early is weird for a PCOS woman!
I'm sticking to the low carb, but within my calorie range this week and see what happens.
I've made posts in past threads talking about not menstruating and suspecting I have PCOS, well today I finally got my diagnosis! The doctor gave me Provera to try to have a period then I am going to take birth control for a while as I continue losing weight, then when I am ready, we'll try Clomid.
It's been a long time coming and it truly feels like a relief. I immediately came to this forum because it's the one place that reminds me I am not alone.
