If you meant "Will walking and Kinect be enough exercise?", then yes! Whatever activity you want to do is enough. Especially as you build it into a habit. Once it's a habit for you, then depending on how much you're doing you can build it up to more time or keep the same time add a little intensity. This doesn't have to be until down the road after you've gotten used to doing activity that you find fun or manageable =)

BUT - Without reducing your food intake in some manner, exercise alone is not likely to help you shed as much weight. In fact, some people who exercise without watching their food intake get hungrier (from doing more physical work) and end up eating more. Thus "canceling out" the weight loss from exercise. That doesn't, however, cancel out the benefits of exercising. The benefits of more movement alone are fantastic which is why exercise is recommended for most anyone who is physically healthy to do so. It's just that exercise alone is not the only thing the body needs to drop excess weight.

Ye olde "Eat less. Move more." phrase comes to mind.
So it's all about cutting food intake and excercising? I think i can do that I'll officially start this June Thank you~_~

I think all this advice is good. My thought is to not be in a hurry. It took me 3 years to lose 40lb but I have not gained it back just learning to eat less. I think for most of my adult life I tried to lose fast and that never worked for me.

Other advise I would give would be not to go to extremes with the diet, follow a healthy food plan. I am sometimes in high schools through work and hear girls talking of severe plans they are trying to follow. That is counterproductive because it wrecks your metabolism and makes losing weight very difficult.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm around the same weight as you right now and feeling equally discouraged- I ate poorly and barely worked out all last week. But, it was just a couple of days and I have so many more days ahead of me. You do too, being only 16! I like to think "tomorrow is always new with no mistakes in it (yet)".

I agree with the poster who recommened some healthy snacks for emotional eating (I do it too!!!! SOOOOO FRUSTRATING). I pick pickles (sour, salty) and carrots (sweet) depending on how I feel.

Yesterday I went to see my nutritionist, and I think it was really productive.
She told me that she want me to just count carbs and follow this Pcos diet she gave me.

She told me to only eat 200 carbs, 45-60 carbs per meals, 15-20 carb per snacks. She said to only do 1600 calories. And to eat atleast 5 servings of fruits and veggies, 4 servings of low-fat diary also. She said since I'm young, it'll work for me and I'll lose weight.

So, i'm hoping I will lose weight on this plan. Thanks guy for all your support.
