Talking Possible engagement in my future??

So over the last week my boyfriend has been talking a lot of future plans, including marriage, babies and buying a house. We've been together 2 years now and I feel I'm ready and that he's the one that has cold feet on the whole idea of marriage. Last night we went out for date night and he brought up marriage and babies again! We talked about different views and opinions from battery operated children's toys to public vs private school. Thinking about it today...I think he's starting to think about proposing! He's talking way too much about our future to not be. I love him so much, and he IS the man of my dreams....which got me thinking...I need to really start hustling when it comes to my weight loss!! The last couple weeks I've been kind of so so on the eating. Nothing terrible but there is room for improvement. Exercise has never been better though...

Of course I want to look good in a wedding dress, for when that time comes, but I want to be healthy for myself, and have a healthy body to grow our children! Having been diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago I have been on birth control pills since the day I was. I'm not even sure I can have a regular period? I am so much more healthy (weight and cardiovascular health) than I was then, and I really don't have any symptoms of PCOS anymore but maybe it's because of the birth control pills? But I am still obese Either way...I want to be at a healthy weight before we even think about trying and I know weight loss is a slow process so this is my wake up call to take this a little more seriously.

I guess I don't really have a question...just needed to get this off my chest/out of my head and any feedback is welcome.

Aww.... that's sweet. I remember when I proposed to DH... He cried and said YES!

Take care of your health -- when you get to the TTC place, don't fret. It's possible to TTC even with PCOS!

hugs
A.

Focusing on health is the only way that I was able to get the weight off so far. It will benefit you so much, not only looking good and having children, but also being able to move (after those toddlers) and having energy to do stuff!

You can lose the weight, just keep going at it. And if he proposes, great! (If not, don't worry about it, it's not the end of the world either!).
