Unhappy Need to lose weight by College^^

Hello. I'll be attending college next year and I want to lose weight by next sept.

I made an appointment to see my Endo/dietion, but they could only fit me in on June 2.

I sighed up to planet fitness with my sister and we're going to start Low carbing next mon. But I don't know where to start. I am doing 1500 calorie intake, but that's really all I know.

I'm take 2000mg of Mediformin and bcp. I'm just really confused. Can any of you girlies help me. I would like to "re-invent" myself before college (and get a date to my senior prom)

Thanks in Advance^______^

i find that if I dont take mt supplements of chromium, cinnamon, fish oil, calcium and a prenatal on top of vitamin c and I dont cut out all processed carbs I dont lose weight. its an insulin thing. I don't know how the vitamins would react with the metformin so defo talk to your doc first but cutting carbs out wel refined ones anyway really made a diff for me.

Sounds like a starting point... Maybe get a 5K walking schedule so you can follow that while you get used to the gym?

Remember to keep a food log! That helps too.

GL!

I try to eat vegetable based carbs and avoid carbs like bread. I eat oatmeal almost every morning for breakfast (strict portion control). Basically, I try to only have one healthy carb serving per meal. I eat small portions of carbs and lean protein and make sure that 1/2 of my plate is covered in leafy and green veggies. Works for me.

I also think that excercise is crucial.

I take januvia and metformin. I also take supplements including calcium, fish oil, flax seed, multivitamin, D, and fiber capsuls. I usually take my januvia and metformin before breakfast and the supplements after eating. I read that calcium can slow the absorption of some prescriptions but you should ask your endo.

Good luck!
