Kemeticism? Egyptian Paganism? Can somebody teach a little about it here?

I'm quite curious.

Afraid that's not my area, but since nobody has come forward yet I'd like to recommend a couple of links:

The Reformed Kemeticism group on ecauldron, a really good, knowledgeable group of folks. Try the stickies at the top first.

The blog Peaceful Awakenings by Kiya Nicoll (goes by Darkhawk on ecauldron) has some really wonderful writings about Kemeticism and also polytheism in general.

Good luck!

Seconding the ecauldron link. There is a lot of good information on Kemeticism on that site as quite a number of the members practice it.

I also got the book called "The Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt". This isn't about modern practice, but there is a lot of good information in there about different gods/goddesses and some religious practice of the ancient Egyptian people. I found it useful to give a scholarly background to complement information on modern practice.

Is Kemeticism reconstructionist? The Golden Dawn doesn't appeal to everyone, but I find their system to have a lot of great resources. It appears stiff and formal until you really start to Get It.
