Default New to Medifast

Hello Everyone!

My daughter is getting married in July and I ordered my dress two size too small so that I could motivate myself to lose weight. Guess what??? It didn't happen so as of Sunday I started Medifast and happily to report that I have lost 6 lbs so far. A friend told me about this website so here I am

Does anyone have any helpful hints? I am wondering about excercising in the first two weeks. Can anyone give me some help with this?

Thank you.

medifast recommends that you wait 3 weeks to start exercising to give your body time to adjust to the carb an cal restriction. good luck.

I'm a Medifast success story
I've lost 87 pounds on it and am currently in transition, so if you have any questions I'm here (as arrogant as that sounded!)

MJHart - wow, that's amazing!! How was the program?? How long were you on it? I want to lost 15-20 so I'm thinking 2-3 months. I exercise a LOT now, I know I have to cut back but hopefully just 1-2 weeks. I'll go crazy, it's my stress relief!

Any beginners tips???

There is a subforum here for Medifast users. There's also a forum on the medifast website with lots of info.

I've lost 31 pounds so far in 12 weeks on Medifast. I write about it a lot on my blog, and have done foods reviews there as well (with pictures of the foods). I lost the rest of my weight before Medifast by calorie counting and eating a lot of veggies and whole foods, but got stalled for quite some time. Doing great now

Hello,

Are all of you that are using Medifast just using it from the Medifast website or are you using through Take Shape For Life?

In case you are not framiliar with Take Shape For Life, it is the coaching division of Medifast. Take Shape For life has health coaches like myself who help you one on one with your weight loss plan and give you support, help you learn new habits of health, help you with goal setting and guidence and anything else you may need. The best part about it is everything the coaches do is 100% free, all you pay for are the Medifast meals. The meals are ordered off of the health coache's website but are the exact same price as they are on the Medifast website, so you are spending the exact same amount of money as you are now but you are getting tons of one on one individual help and support for free.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
