The selection is ok although there are several items that have 3 and then only one of others. The beans and rice were fine but I might try adding broth to them after the are cooked next time to thin it out.

I feel pretty full this evening and yet I still need to have 2 more vegetables and my fat. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hi,

I have been lurking for a while. I just started Nutrisystem last week. I bought a package from QVC of breakfasts, lunches and snacks. I've been eating healthy dinners (usually chicken and vegetables). I've been on and off on the weekends-eating tons of salad! I just wanted to see how everyone was doing, and if anyone has any advice for me! I look forward to a system of support on here while I work toward reaching my weight loss goal.

Okay, it's official!!! I weighed in today and I'm down 50lbs!!! Yeah!!! I joined the biggest loser challenge in the 100lb club and in 12 weeks I hoped to lose 20lbs. It's been 4 (I think) and I've lost 9!! Size 16 here I come!! (We're going to Florida the end of March and it was my goal to wear a 16 there...and buy some new clothes since I haven't been in a 16 since university and I have nothing!) Yep, I'm excited.

Hi everyone! I'm new (sort of). I used NutriSystem back in 1989 and lost 35 lbs. I was a goddess. Anyway, one divorce, major move, new marriage, life in general, and now I weigh over 200 lbs. (But not for much longer!) I started back on NutriSystem a week or so ago. I just had nose/sinus surgery, so I haven't been eating much, just picking at stuff here and there. Yesterday was the first day I really followed the plan and ate three meals.

I had to laugh...I see that the nacho chips are available in Canada but not here in the US. Back when I was first on the plan, the nacho chips came in a large, three serving bag. I LOVED those things! I couldn't wait for weigh in day (back then it was done in a clinic setting) so I get my next 'fix'. Trust me, the chips didn't last three days!

I'm glad I found this board. Lots of great info and great people. This board is both informational and inspirational.

Keep up the good work, all.
Peace.

Welcome Janaya!
I like those nacho chips/crisps also!

After a week of sore muscles, lack of sleep and having a friend visit, all of which slowed my progress some....I still ended up losing a pound.
Guess if I want to lose a bit faster, I should stay on plan for the whole week, not just six days out of seven.

Grats Lizzz!
Wilted, I love the cheesy potatoes the way they are. Others like to add some NF sour cream, a bit of grated cheese and bacon bits. If everything is counted right... Some make it into a creamy potato soup.
The Nutrisystem boards have ideas to fix up some meals people don't like. For every person that hates a particular food, there are many that like it. Everyone has their own tastes. Also, the longer you are on here, the tastier some things seem to get.
I don't like the cheese tortellini, but perhaps had I read the boards and found a fix( splenda and broth) that would make it taste better, I might still be ordering it.
If you have potatoes left, it would be worth looking up different fixes for them and giving one a try before you decide to send it back, sell it or whatever.

Welcome back Janaya! I tried the Nacho chips last night and they are SOOO good. Best thing I had so far.

Wiltedflower, if you had the cranberry loaf thing for breakfast we would have had the identical food day. The loaf was ok but kind of sticks to your teeth. The potatoes where really thick so I will likely add more water next time but were otherwise good. The chicken parm pasta was pretty good but I added a spoon of parmesan and some red chili flakes to give it more kick.
