S/C/G: Fit & Fat!

Height: Tall & Strong, Baby!

Default Kashi GoLean Meal Vanilla Replacement Shake

Has anyone used this product? I am considering using this as any of the other meal replacements I have seen that are available through programs aren't vegan and have artificial sweeteners.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Have you ever looked at the Ultimate Meal? Only thing is it has a distinct taste which may not be favorable to many people. DH and I like it though, especially mixed with a banana and other fruit.

Yes, I actually like that product (it's a whole food and meets many of my other criteria!) but it really is not in my price range at this time. I may reevaluate though! It is one of the highest quality products out there right now.

There are several good protein powders out there too!

I was just wondering about the Kashi one because it is affordable and looks to offer balanced nutrition.

SoulBliss,

Let me know if you find something vegan that is a good meal replacement. I enjoy the Ultimate meal but I do know it is a bit expensive. One reason I have a hard time going completely vegan is I rely heavily on whey protein powders but I have been waning myself off of them... I also don't care to eat too much soy.

Skinny, meal replacement shakes generally have a good amount of sugar carbs because they are meant to be well rounded meals.

I'm not vegan so I am not entirely sure what to look for on the watch words, but what about Spiru-tein? Here is a link to their ingredients and stats for their vanilla flavor:

Hey, Nancy, thanks for that info! It is really close to being vegan but it has bee products.

I guess no one has tried the Kashi product.
