Hi fernmeow2!

I think the plan is EASY! It's all planned out for you, while at the same time you have enough flexibility to personalize it. For me, taking all the thinking out of it helps!

I go to a centre for my weekly consultation and weigh-in, so I don't know much about the Jenny Direct program.

The weekly food is between $110 and $120 a week. If you add up your groceries, plus all your eating out, you will find that it is very comparable!

Good luck deciding what you want to do.....

My weigh in is tonight. Not sure what to expect though--I've not been able to do any cardio because of the cellulitis in my leg. It's on the mend now, so hopefully I will be able to start walking again tomorrow. I've actually missed it!

Congrats BlondeBlueeyedBeauty on your weight loss. You are lucky you can lose despite all the "partying" you are doing. That is one of the advantages of being so YOUNG! Enjoy it

Good Luck Jen on your Weigh-in tonight.

Sorry it has been like a ghost town on this thread........

I lost another 1 lb. this week, so that brings it up to 21.5 lbs gone so far. It is going slow, but I am glad to be losing at all at this point.

Jen, My center has an extremely large full-length version of your "Val" avatar on the wall. I thought of you when I saw it.

Bye for now. --Pookie

Hiya Pooks! great to see you, and congrats on your pound! As long as there is a downward trend, the speed is irrelevant!

Had another good weigh-in tonight--2.2 lbs GONE!! That is a total of 7.8 lbs in two weeks. And from my highest weight, it is a total of 22.2 lbs!

I bought the new Creative Recipes book at my centre. It take the JC cuisine and gives it a makeover for a delicious meal. For instance, you can take the Chicken Fettuccini and make it into chicken divand by adding broccoli, mushrooms and a bit of parmesan cheese. YUM!!

See you later!

Hi y'all! (All two of you that still read here! LOL)

Had a slip this weekend--went off plan Saturday night. But I was able to get right back on it.

This program makes it easy for you to get back on track!!

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I haven't posted in such long time. Life has been extra busy for me - at work and at home. I've been playing with a couple of pounds, up one week and down again, so I feel like I'm just treading water.

I was talking to my consultant and telling her how right now this diet is not my main priority and I need to try hard to make it a bigger focus so I can finally get to my GOAL. So close, yet so far.

It's funny how motivation works. No one really knows how to get it. I'm really at that point right now. I'm still on program and doing o.k., but not doing it 100% like when I started. I know I need to be at 100% in order to lose those last 10 lbs.

You know, I'm doing really great, if my goal is to maintain. But that's not my goal.

So starting today I'm trying to make a new commitment. I need to act like I'm starting JC like it's all new. I know I can get there. I just need a little bigger push.

Hopefully you will all be here to help me through this . . .

Christina

Hey Girls, I'm new to this forum. I tried JC for a 2nd time 3 weeks ago and so far so good. I was diagnosed with IR in June so losing weight for me is definitely a challenge. However, with no cheating (I don't eat out..period), and taking Meridia I do think I'll be able to overcome my first month and come out victorious! LOL...

Hi Amyia, Welcome. Do you have to make any adjustments with the food or program because of the IR ?

I think when I get to the point when I am doing MOMO (Meals on my Own) I might cut back a bit on the starches.

Chrisitna, I think that starting out "fresh & new" is a good idea. I hope that works out well. Wow I can't even imagine being only 10 lbs from goal --that is great.

Jen, Congrats again on your weight loss!

Thanks again Pookie!

Tomorrow is weigh-in, but I am not expecting anything due to TOM. Whatever will be, will be.....
