You don't know for sure you'll be up tomorrow....the scale varies SO MUCH from day to day. There are so many variables! Just wait and see what tomorrow brings....
And even if you're up--remember it is temporary!

Sorry Jen, this thread does not get that much "traffic".
I love your new avatar, it brought a smile to my face. I can't quite make out what is Val holding?
Last Weigh-in I lost 1 lb. No big whop, but it it better than gaining or staying the same. This time around, I am trying to accept slow weight loss and I am trying to be happy about any loss (even the small ones).
So Jen did you go ahead and call Jenny like you planned? How did your first consultation go? Did you try the food yet? What do you think about the program and the food?
BlondeBlueEyedBeauty, Glad you broke thru your plateau !
How is Christina and GypsyDancer and AllthingsBright?
YummyMummy - any loss yet? --Pookie

Hey Pookie! I think Valerie is holding a "cocktail"! LOL
Today is my first day on the food--banana nut cereal and turkey burger so far...chicken fettuccine and DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CAKE tonight!!
I really like my JCC. She was very good about explaining the program, and made necessary substitutions due to my food allergy (coconut). The centre director seems to be a sweetie too!
My JCC will have to take my pic next week, since there was no film for her camera yesterday. I figured JC would have gotten in this century by now and use digital!!! Oh well.....
WTG on your pound Pookie!!!! It's one pound at a time!!

Hi Jen
It sounds like you are off to a great start.
I am glad you really like your JC consultant. I think it is SO important to have a good relationship with your Jenny Craig Consultant. I had switched consultants early on - and I learn so much more from the one I go to now.
BTW: My photo was taken with a Polaroid Camera, so I guess a lot of the centers do not have digital cameras yet.
Don't forget to FILL up on your veggies and "free foods". It is important to supplement the JC foods with the salads and veggies and fruits and " free foods" so you don't get too hungry.
JEN : to you on your JC journey -- Pookie

Thanks for the advice, Pookie! I don't have much problem with fruit, but I sure do have veggie issues!! I'll have to work on that.
Something else I will have to work on is timing my food on the weekends. During the week should be no problem, but the weekends are a lot less structured.
So far today I've had the Breakfast Scramble, Southwestern Style Chicken burrito and apple crisp. YUM! Tonite's meal is meatloaf!

YAY Yummy Mummy!! That's what we're shooting for--the downward trend!!
My week 1 weigh in is Thursday after work. I feel pretty confident I will meet the six pound goal that is in my signature, and hopefully more!

Hi, everyone! I'm here. I was on vacation, but still managed to lose 2.2 pounds (I brought my Jenny cuisine with me). Welcome to Jen and YummyMummy! I love this program--I wish I had joined years ago. I think it's really holistic and there's a lot of emphasis on changing what's going on in our heads that made us fat. I spend a lot of time on the JC board--have you checked it out? It's very helpful, too.

Hi,
I am considering starting Jenny in the next couple of days. There isn't a center that is very close to me, so I will probably do the meals by mail. Does anyone do that on these boards? Do you find the program to be easy? Any information would be appreciated!
