But not to this subject!!!
I am 32 years old and have been battling with weight issues since I was a child.
My mother is a binge/yo-yo dieter and my father was a bodybuilder who lived in the gym and tained with the likes of Weider circa 70's.
My first diet was at 12 years old, my first binge was at 14 years old and from using laxatives to purging to being obsessed with exercise to NOT caring and letting myself get bigger and bigger I am miserable.
I am thinking about joinning an OA meeting, there is one in the area.
This board seems very supportive and has great wisdom that I am hoping to benefit from!

Welcome! OA has been a great choice for me. It's the only place that helped restore my brain to a sane way of thinking and acting toward food. It sounds to me like you might really benefit as well.

Don't be surprised if the first meeting or two feel a little bit strange to you. Just keep coming back!!!
