"Principles Before Personalities"

I'm putting this in here as a way of reminding myself that although I might have problems finding/connecting/keeping connect with a sponsor, logging into meetings, getting literature, etc. the principles of the program are still solid.

I don't want to allow a bunch of little set-backs to allow me to abandon the program all together.

I suppose I'm just looking for the support and someone to affirm these decisions that I'm making. I fully recognize that I can't do it alone, and yet sometimes it's just so darn difficult to make connections with people and I get into thinking "well, if I can't do it alone- and I feel so alone- then I can't do it. So why bother?" And I realize that this is the very essence of defeat. I don't want to allow this kind of thought to take root.

If I feel alone, then it's my job to reach out.
