Default Anyone here try *******?

I am thinking about doing *******... It was created by a woman named Kim who added a twist to Atkins. She also removed all of the fat from her diet and lost a substantial amount of weight quickly... I'm just not sure and I wanted some other peoples opinions before I did it...

Thanks...

Lorrie

There have been a lot of posts on a lot of websites about her diet. If you do the research you will not give her your money.

Many people have had results, but the basic diet is not healthy and you are not only encouraged to starve yourself, but encouraged (and can even buy t-shirts that say this!) to achieve SNATT--semi nauseous all the time...

Follow Atkins or South Beach or a combination of the two, or just watch your carbs. She will take your money and you will join a community that will feed your eating disorder if you have one. The community here are 3FC is all you need, it is very supportive of health as well as weight loss.

Just speaking from experience here, you may hear some other responses but please avoid that diet and take care of yourself!!!

I certainly wouldn't be throwing any money her way. Kim has filed for bankruptcy (chapter 11). And she has a class action lawsuit against her AND she has an "F" from the Better business bureau!

To click on the first link you'll have to remove the asterick after "kim."

It is very dangerous, and potentially deadly to combine low fat and low carb. We recently discussed this in this thread called Why are low carb diets high in fat?:

http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161111

The "Kim" who designed this plan, I believe is also facing wrongful death lawsuits from the families of at least one of her plan members who died as a result of the plan.

Do not do it. She falsified all that information and some people have had incredible health problems from doing her diet.

Here are all the cons to this diet:
Quote:
* No research or healthcare endoresements
* Plan contradicts sound medical research
* Dangerously low caloric intake
* No exercise
* Suggested to take laxatives regularly
* Creator under investigation for fraud
* Creator does not have any nutrition or medical experience

Additionally, many followers of ******* have reported frightening side effects, including:

* Constant nausea
* Hair loss
* Fainting
* Heart palpitations
* Fatigue
* Bone and/or joint pain
* Constipation
Just google ******* diet fraud and you get so many horrible stories of people that experienced it.

Lorrie, Women's World was scammed just like the folks who tried K1mk1ns. Here's the 3FC link about it. It took the title out of Daimere's URL: http://tinyurl.com/asyn8z
