Wheat has a ton of protein. I buy whole wheat bread (Rudy's Organics brand) and one slice has 5 grams of protein for 90 calories. Whole Wheat pasta is packed with protien too, as is seiten (looks like a fake meat product, made from wheat gluten, sold by the tofu usually).

I didn't see nutritional yeast make anyone's list - 2 tablespoons has 8.5 grams of protein and only 60 calories.

I am trying to get more protein and have eaten over 65 grams of protein today for breakfast/lunch. Here is what I've had so far, the first number is calories then protein.

Breakfast: 2 eggs (140/12 grams), 1 slice toast (90/5 grams), 1 tofurky breakfast sausage (130/11 grams)

Lunch: Spirulina Shake (100/14 grams), Greek yogurt (140/14 grams) 1 cup of Kashi GO Lean Crunch (190/9 grams).

Dinner will probably be lentil dal...
