All of you made me so hungry! I never thought to roast green beans. It's too late tonight, but I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow. I have a ton of them sitting in my fridge that I bought on impulse.

I have now made these oven roasted green beans with garlic and onion with both garden fresh and tiny frozen green beans...they are both DELICIOUS! Better than any sort of french fry in my book!

I know it is an oxymoron but I got yellow green beans (aka wax beans) from my CSA last week and they were even better than regular green beans roasted! This week, we got regular green beans again and they too will be roasted.

We had green beans from our garden this summer, so I finally had fresh green beans to roast. I enjoyed them and will be making them again. (I picked more this morning!) Thanks Robin and everyone else who suggested them.
