Do canned peas have any nutrition?
I love them, but I don't see any % of vitamins on the label. Yes, I know frozen peas are better but I love the taste/texture of canned (must be the salt).

I did a google search on "vitamins in canned peas" and found the following:
Cooked or canned peas provide similar amounts of vitamins A (four to 10 percent of the RDI) and C (10 to 20 percent) and are also a good source of folate and iron. Personally, I consider canned vegetables to be fairly nutritionally equal to their fresh/frozen counterparts (as long as the ingredients are simply: vegetable, salt, without any weird extra additives). |
They also have 3 grams of fiber per half-cup serving.

Awesome. My daughter loves them too...and I have a hard time getting her to eat vegetables.
