Default Can I join you?

I introduced myself at WW at home, but after browsing around, I realized this is a better place for me.

I just had my 5th baby. I've lost the baby weight with WW with my last 3 children, though I've never been great at staying at my goal weight. I always seem to gain back ten lbs. Hoping not to do that again. . .

Anyway, I knew ww was going to points+ and it seemed like a good idea in theory, but I wasn't so sure about my ability to self-regulate when it came to "free" fruit. I signed up online a month ago and tried for a couple weeks but couldn't find my groove, along with the fact that I was right about my inability to eat fruit moderately! At least for now Plus, I do better on a lower carb/lower sugar diet, though I have no problem with vegetables.

So I just bought the old program (books) on ebay and I'm downloading iwatcher on my phone and I'm going to stick with what works. I've got about 35 to lose. I'm doing this all at home, so I'm looking forward to getting to know you all

@JennyT Way to go! Feels awesome doesn't it? I remember when I broke 200. I wanted to hug everyone!
I'm down 2.4 from 2 weeks ago. (Missed my WI the week before.) Considering how busy I was and that I didn't track AT ALL, I was amazed. I think I'm 0.4 lbs from breaking the 40 pounds lost on WW, 50 lbs overall. Sooooo close.

Congrats to Jenny, Daktari, & Amandie

I've been on this plan for a little over 10 weeks and have lost 27 pounds*does happy dance*!

Yesterday I was even able to fit into my jeans for the first time since last year. When I couldn't fit into my size 14's anymore I refused to buy higher and lived in stretch waisted clothes for a long time. I can only assume I would have been in an 18 had I actually been willing to face that tag.

Congrats to everyone that has been successful these last couple of weeks! You guys are awesome and should be proud I haven't commented for a while because I haven't had a significant loss and part of my reasoning for not commenting is that the next time I comment, I want to tell you guys about MY success!, lol! I weigh in on Saturday.... I do get the e-mail notifications and read about Amandie's, Daktari's and Jenny T's successes, and had to post. This forum is for support and I wanted to show mine. Hopefully I'll have good news, this weekend!

Here I am. I have successfully lost weight on the Momentum plan before and am, in fact, a lifetime member (silly name that is). Anyway Points Plus did NOT work for me. After wasting 6 weeks trying to figure that out, I am back to the Momentum plan. I pray it works because I am so sick of nothing moving on the scale.

Yoyo mama
It took me 4 months to throw in the towel on Points Plus, so at least you didn't waste as much time! Now that I have been back on Momentum, the scale has budged and is still moving down. I feel I made the right choice. I may go back to Points Plus later, but for now I am sticking with what works.

Question Ladies: How are you keeping track of your points? Are you writing them down? Are you using iwatcher? Are you subtracting your exercise points? How are you calculating recipes?...I have a confession... I really miss the online tracker (e-tools) but it is useless now because of points plus. Thought I'd try MyNetDiary which is a fabulous tool, quick and easy to use. MND does calorie counting, based on a formula they have for your age height weight,etc.. I have actually gained weight doing this. I want to do Momentum again, but having hard time tracking. Iwatchr is good, but cumbersome. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. I still have e-tool account active till end of this month, and when I went back to look at my prior weigh -ins I saw the loss in weight I was having and it has re-motivated me! Help me girls!

I still have my Momentum books and slider. I write everything down in one of those 3 month diaries. I used to do the weekly booklets WW gives you, but I wanted to have a better organized record of what I was eating. When I calulate new foods, I write them in my food companion and dining out books.

Everytime I tried to use e-tools I lost interest after a while. Just a pen and paper girl I guess.

Default Starting Momentum/Flex Today

Hello Everyone,

I'm Sheila and I re-started Momentum/Flex today. I just couldn't get with the new Points Plus program. I think it's because I've done Flex/Momentum for so long that the points values for so many foods are etched in my brain. It will be much easier for me to follow this program. I just cancelled my monthly pass and will give it a try on my own. I'm sure I can get the needed motivation/encouragement here. I will weigh myself weekly (Friday am) and post the outcome. I would like to lose between 54-60 pounds.

I started momentum/flex today. I've never gone to a meeting and I can't afford to sign up. Most of the information I got I found online.

Since I work nights my day starts at 3-4 pm. I keep track in a notebook of what I've eaten and my points. I need to lose 95-100 lbs. I just started my job so I'm still adapting to a new schedule.

I hope by exercising I'll start having more pep at nigh and start sleeping better during the day.
