Default When did you need to buy a smaller size?

I would love to know how many pounds everyone lost before they were able to fit "comfortably" into the next smaller size pants/jeans/shirt, etc???

I am pretty consistent about needing a size smaller every 20 lbs.

To go from sizes like a 12 to 10, 10 to 8, etc., I think it's about 15 pounds in my experience. But from L to M, i think it's probably more. I've been a 12 for a while and I've lost 6 pounds since starting, and I can fit into my 10s again. Good thing I kept them! I'm 174 now, so I think at 160 I may be an 8.

Seems to be every 10-15 lbs. I wear sizes 20-22.

for me, I've lost just over 20 pounds and for pants, I'm in between sizes right now. I've lost an inch on my waist and hips too, so I'm thinking that another inch and I'll fit into all my old 20s

Shirts are a little looser as well and I have yet to loose my boobs. Most of my weight has come off my butt and face.

Gosh, it seemed like I was wearing my same size forever. Believe it or not I think I was about 30 pounds down before I bought something new. Also though, I wore my elastic waisted black flowy pants alot. Those fit no matter what!

I haven't yet seen anything about it on this site, but does anyone do a clothing exchange? I'm going to have a bunch of nice clothes I can't wear anymore and I hate to just box them up (and I don't have the patience for eBay!).

When I first started losing weight, I lost like 60 pounds and dropped only 2 sizes and then I lost 20 more and dropped like 4 sizes! Now I've noticed whenever I go up or down around 10 pounds I drop a size.

I wonder if the size changes are slower at first because so many of us have elastic bands?????

I think everyone is different. When I lost alot of weight last time I just had to randomly go and try on the size below what I was to see if I could fit. Because it also has to do with how many inches you've lost. I usually did it as soon as shirts and stuff started to feel big because jeans have stretch in them now lol and they just stretch out no matter what lol. Trace that is an awesome idea!!!! I wonder if they'd start a new section for it? That way none of us have to spend alot on new clothes as we lost.

Oh, I can not wait to get to this points. I am wearing a 22/24W in most pants but they are getting loose. I have one pair of 20's that I had put in the skinny box because I could not longer squeeze my stomach into them. I tried them on last week and they fit, still a litte tight in the waist but after they are on a few minutes they strectch and feel fine. The best part is not that they fit but they do not ride down my rear in when I bend over to pick us a kid.

I hope the size will come off pretty quickly with exercising. My anniversary is on April 24 and I have a dress in a size 20 that I would like to wear. DH and I only get a way once a year due to having a larger family. I really look forward to the two days with only DH and this time I would like to feel beautiful.
