Hello all! I'm Michelle, I'm 36 married mom to a 5 and 8 year old and I'm joining WW (again but this time I joined WW online) after success on a different program.
I have been on Nutrisystem for almost 6 months, lost 61 lbs and need to keep the momentum going! NS was supposed to be a jumping board for me...a kick start that last 6 months instead! LOL! BUT since I was seeing success I just kept with it. We're going on vacation in a month and I thought since I'm not bringing my NS food with there's no time like the present to learn how to keep myself healthy and loosing weight. I figured WW teaches you how to live not only now to lose weight but for the rest of my life too and perhaps in a months time I'll have the basics down and eating on vacation will be alot easier for me.
I have to say I'm pretty nervous! NS was such a calorie restricted diet (approx 1200 calories a day I believe) and WW says I should be eating 32 points a day. It seems really high to me and I'm afraid I'm going to be stalling my current weight loss. I think yesterday I ate 29 points and that was eating more than I was acustomed to on NS...it's alot of food!!
Anyways, I'm surfing the WW side of things and learning everything I can from you ladies (and gents!) and will be here to give as well as recieve support! Thanks ahead of time for all you have to offer! I'm hoping this will be a good way to continue my weight loss journey in a realistic and healthy manner.
