Hey gals! I had a great OP day yesterday. My new driveway looks great - with the exception of the big chunk of cement that they did not remove Now I'm going to have to talk to the guy and have them come back, remove it, and patch the asphalt. At least I haven't paid him yet

I'm going to see Kung Fu Panda tonight and am going to RESIST the urge to buy yummy, horribly bad for me food at the movies. I need to start wearing my anchor again because that usually helps!

I have had so much energy lately and I am really attributing it to the weather. I've decided that before winter comes I need to buy a sun lamp. I can't believe how much better I feel when I just stand in the sun for a few minutes. I was diagnosed with seasonal depression 8 years ago and they recommended a lamp, but I never bought one. They are expensive!

I'm just going to to reply to people who posted after my last post or this thing would be 3 pages long....

Manick - Don't OP days feel just GREAT?!?!

BB - My DH uses Advair. He used to have really bad asthma attacks and now he never gets one. I hope it helps your DH!

Stitches - I will post a picture of the patio this afternoon when I am at home How is the garden coming along? When we were digging out the patio, you would not BELIEVE how much juniper I found in there. The leaves, etc were all dead but the roots certainly were not. And juniper spreads like wildfire! Not fun at all! But I bet you got a good workout!

Vday - I checked out the local YMCA, but I didn't like it at all. I ended up joining another local gym that was much cleaner and didn't smell like feet !! But not all of them are like that. You should check it out and if you like it and think you will go then join! Even with the gym membership, I haven't been getting workouts in. I've been working WAY too much lately. 6-7 days a week!

Good Morning Ladies

We called our DD this morning to tell her the good news that her father is met the new doctor and the meds that he gave him should be working as its now from the lung like we thought but from the bronchial tubes.

Asked how the kids took to Rusty's passing and she told me the tough twin cried bitterly at school[being it was family day]& Rusty's picture was on the wall.Had to go to the school physiologist and after she told the nurse the story she was released. The other twin cried getting off the bus,and the 3 DGD cried when she came into the kitchen. DGS didn't react. They buried Rusty in the court yard, and going to plant a orange bush that blooms in the winter.

INSTICHES-Thanks,we hope the advair will help,so we don't have to go from test to test.Told my DD we don't know when will be coming down to see the DGC,I miss them so much, but first I have to see what going on in my DH health.I think thats one of he reasons I not losing on the scale,as its on my mind consistently. Oh the Deluxe Cheeseburger Melt was an easy and delicious recipe for winter & summer months.

Recipe:

Deluxe Cheeseburger Melt[for 2]

1/3 c Bisquick Heart smart mix
1tb water 2tbs water
2tbs f/f egg product or 1 egg white
1/4 c+2 tbs shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
1/4 lb ground turkey
1/2c canned condensed reduced fat & sodium creamed mushroom soup
3/4 c frozen mixed veggies

1) Heat oven 400% [I used toaster oven in this heat] Spray an 8x4 inch loaf pan with cooking spray. In a small bowl stir int Bisquick, water, egg & 1/4 cup of cheese, spread in pan.

2)In a 10 in skillet cook turkey over med high heat,stirring occasionally,until ,browned & drained.Stir in soup & veggies,heat until hot.

3)Spoon turkey mixture over batter in pan.Sprinkle with remaining 2tb of cheese.Bake about 20 mins or until edges are lightly browned.

1serving:250 cal==7g total fat,1 g dietary fiber[comes to 5 pts]

I'm noticing that my arms & legs are getting skinny, but my trunk & upper thighs are getting thicker. Some I'll be looking like my DGD drawing a big & small circle with sticks for arms & legs.

VDAY-I haven't exercise either for 2 weeks now that I still have a hurt hamstring. Going to try my bike this afternoon. I have the same problem its way to hot tom walk along the beach, but they say that by Thursday our heat should break and that I will going back to my walking.

MODKITN-Thanks I hope it works also.
Workers are like that all over the place we 're here in the Cape are having the same problem with taking away the left overs after the job is finished. I guess they think our garage man is going to take the mess.

Have to start making our cold salad dinner. Will be back later.

Mornin' ladies!

I haven't been here in a while. I was shocked to learn that the board crashed. I think I was here on Thursday or Friday the last time.

BB- That recipe sounds good I'm glad DH is doing better.

Mod- That's an awful lot of hours to work. I don't envy you, but I'll bet the checks are nice.

Vday- hopefully the YMCA will work for you and it's only 8 blocks away- you can walk there! I hope the water gets fixed in your new place soon. You were so excited about moving.

Institches- Gardening is a great workout. My inner thighs are always sore after weeding. Sad to say, but I don't weed enough at my house.

Manick- Ethiopian food? Where do you go for that? This is going to sound horrible, but I would never have thought of people actually making it and eating it here. When I think of Ethiopian food I think, "very little" or "none".

Lizzy- That is awesome that you ended up at the grocery store!!! I had a similar incident on Saturday. I was late getting on the road and was going to say "screw it" and get McDonalds, but alas there was a Subway a few blocks from McD's, so I ended up there. It was very relieving for me.

Mitchy, Patty, Chey, Faerie & Jaime-

************************************************** ********

Wow, it was quite the busy weekend and Monday here. DH is struggling with the amount of time I'm spending on the computer when I'm at home, so I will probably be posting a little less in the near future. He's a workaholic tyrant and he expents me to clean *A LOT* Drives me insane!

I bought a new-to-me (used) saddle on Saturday. I'm chomping at the bit to ride in it, but our weather's been awful. We've had lots of rain and humidity. Today we have perfect temps but lots of mud. It's not fun to ride horses in the mud!

BUT....My brother surprised DH and I and bought us a Wii!!! Now we can play games that require movement, but only when Mr. Drill Sargeant says it's okay to rest.

As you can tell I'm frustrated with DH. I have issues with being told how much I can use the computer, sit down or go riding! /vent

Other than that, life is peachy! I made it through my nephew's cake and ice cream. It was yummy and I didn't overdo it. I love WW and the ability to eat everything!!!

pattygirl - It sounds like you're going through a lot! Not gaining through all that is a huge accomplishment. You should be very proud of yourself.

Chey - Come on over I think the drive from Iowa to Virginia is a little long, but try not to be late. Dinner's at 7 I hope the extra round of severe weather didn't do too much damage on top of what you already had.

BB - that recipe looks good, thanks for sharing, it sounds like good comfort food

Mitchypoo - What's going on at work? I think I missed something. I hope your boss is helping you work things out.

Sonja - Way to win the mental battle!

Mod - ooh, an almost-done driveway! If you don't mind sharing, what is your anchor? I really like hearing about those things. I don't have one myself but probably ought to figure something out.

Manick - Yes, hurray for OP! I've started a countdown in my signature because I'm so proud of myself for staying OP for more than two days. Being OP is fun, huh? That Ethiopian food sounds interesting.... I'm very open to food from different cultures and stuff, and I love pretty much everything I try, but there's something about not being able to eat with a fork/spoon... hmm....

Institches - You and Chey are welcome to come over, It's not quite as far from PA as it is from Iowa where she is I haven't made the lentil burgers yet but I will definitely share the recipe after I do. I want to make sure they're tasty first before giving out the recipe! Unfortunately you can't spot reduce flab, those wings just have to go away on their own, but if you do any kind of strength exercises for your arms/shoulders/back the definition will help tighten things up.

vday - yay, a sink! I've never done the Y thing so no help from me there. Ihope you find a solution.

Kim - I hope you enjoy the Wii, they sure are a lot of fun. You are your own woman, make sure your DH knows that you have a will of your own! I'd be frustrated too!

Well, as my nice little counter in my signature says, I've been OP for quite a few days in a row now. I decided to start keeping track as sort of a reminder that I should STAY OP... it's motivating to see the number go up, too, just like seeing the weight number go down

I have a new office mate now... ever since our office changed locations we had been moved around and I was put in an office by myself. A new girl came in yesterday and she seems really nice... She's definitely going to be a good influence food-wise as she actually eats mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks and brings healthy lunches and stuff... unlike my former office mate who lived on 100-calorie packs and lean cuisines and wouldn't eat for half the day. I always felt self-conscious snacking in the afternoon around my old officemate because she would complain about being so hungry but never do anything about it, but now it seems I've got a kindred spirit in tune with the eating every 3 or so hours strategy. I need these healthy influences in my life!

We bought a wireless router last night and a couple of (plastic) adirondak chairs for the backyard... Which means when I have to do work in the evening I get to do it sitting under the trees in the backyard. Which makes it immensely more pleasant than being on our futon couch with a wire running across the room. I'm very happy about that new development.

Well, that's it for now.... hope everyone has a good day!

Suite - Oh I love those good influences around us. It'll make it that much easier to stay on track at work. And I love your OP counter I'll be watching it go up & up ^_^

Kim - There are so many fun things to do with the Wii. I hope you have a lot of fun with it. I'd have issues, too, about being told what to do. "I'm an adult now, thanks." I know what needs done and when. So leave me be when it's "me time".

BB - I laughed out loud about how you say you'll look like the drawings your DGD does! I know exactly what you mean ^^ I hope the Advair works out for the best!

Mod - Have a great time at the movies. A little extra to help keep you away from the junk stuff!

Vday - I've never had a YMCA membership before. But if it's local, and it's going to get you going, then I hope it's a nice enough center that will work for you!

Institches - Love it when clothing gets too big! I lose all over... but I've still lost more inches in my hips & thighs than anywhere else. I notice a difference everywhere, but it's more like "Oh I'm jigglier... so there's less fat, it's just mushier now... " Best to you on your busy week (boy do I understand). Lots of OP wishes!

Manick - Yay for OP!!!!! It feels gooooood, doesn't it?

Lizzy - So proud of you for that In-the-car-almost-gonna-fast-food-it NSV! It's fantastic when that last minute push comes out and we're like "Naw... I know I don't really want this." Enjoy your juicing days!

Mitchypoo - I don't believe I was able to read that post about what happened before, but I sincerely hope that it all works out for the best between you and the bosses!

Trish - Good job being OP! I, too, think eating right helps our bodies to do what they need to do. Including heal. All the best to you and your husband right now!

Chey & Luvmyfam & Tarah & Everyone - !

---

Well, life is busy.

I've got all the essentials for my trip from my list. Now to actually pack it.

My company is actually paying for a ride for me & my co-worker. So we'll be dropped off at the airport and picked up when we get back. Woo-hoo! Not only that... but since I'm an hourly wage worker, I get paid for all of the travel time. Wheeeeee!

Just learned how to complete an expense report for my trip. Not too bad. Just going to have to remember to keep my receipts

I'm excited! The three girls there now are already looking to plan a few weekends out of town to enjoy touring some things. I already know that this may be my only chance in this lifetime to visit India. So the cost to travel to other places is worth it.

I did mention before that what I'm really nervous about is eating well. Still nervous... but, determined.

Tomorrow is my last day at work before I head to India.

On the wedding front:

Found a nice Justice of the Peace for the wedding. Check!
Next, find a photographer.

The fiancé and I gave the MIL a project. Flowers/Centerpieces. She'll be able to decorate her heart out and feel useful. (And we don't have to worry about it ) I think I'll ask my Dad to make a jazz cd to play during the dinner, and I'll have to find something small for my own Mom to do.

I should get back to work >_> (Kinda need the job for a few, eh?)

Have wonderful evenings all!

Well I went to the doc's today. My throat has been bothering me for a couple months. He said it isn't infected, just irritated. Gave me a throat spray prescription that should help. He thinks its due to post nasal drip that is due to allergies. Boo allergies!

BB - That recipe looks yummy! What they left behind wasn't just trash that they didn't haul away. It was part of the old driveway that they were supposed to remove and didn't. Now we can't even take it out because they paved right up to it.

Paint - Just curious but... how often do you log on during the day? Do you ever put restrictions on him? Does he just want you to be doing other things than being on the internet?

suite - Yay for OP days! I will be watching your counter My office mate is super shy and quiet and most days we don't even say hello to each other!

Faerie - Are you going to India for work? I would love to visit there. My cousin (16 yrs old) went there last year for the first time. His mom is from there and her family is all there. He said he hated it and never wants to go back. I thought maybe he didn't stay in cities but he said he did and that the sanitation was really bad and he hated the food (must get his taste buds from his dad!). Not what I thought it would be like at all!

Morning Chicks!

Hi to Faerie--hope you are getting everything done and have some fabulous new clothes...I am sure things are very "on task" for you right now Have a safe flight...enjoy it all...and all the new experiences!

BB Glad your DH is on new meds...I was on Advair for a couple of years too, helped ALOT with my asthma and such. Now I mostly control it with allergy shots and exercise (my personal belief is that heating up the body/lungs with strenuous cardio really helps me) I hope it works well for him and you get to see the grandchildren soon!

Trish good job with the OP! And I'm glad your DH is doing well now...scary stuff! Good advice on the nutritionals...I second that! My friend who is a lung specialist was just telling me how important they are finding vitamin D to be also in preventing cancers, especially for women!

And speaking of Vit D Mod get yourself one of those lights!! This Jan I started taking vitamin D morning and night and DH bought me a Verilux Happy light and while it is not the prettiest thing ever, it is VERY helpful! I highly recommend it! There is a big price range, the more basic ones have a more basic price. I felt worlds better this winter in comparison and Oregon is super gray many, many days of the year. I put mine in my bathroom on a shelf right in front of my face and I just flip it on while I am getting ready in the AM. And just so I'm not bashing Oregon (this state I love) lots of days we have the most gorgeous weather of anywhere in the world IMO! However, currently it is gray and rainy...my new baby flowers are getting a drink
I love pictures too...show us the patio! Good luck on staying away from the movie treats! I'm sure you can do it!

Stiches, remind me what you do that you have to sleep in the day? I am losing from my bust (ugh) and my tummy (yea!) and legs are firming up a bit I've been noticing. Arms are still not great. Triceps exercises are our friends Triceps dips and weights are what I've been doing, and I wear alot of v-neck tops (elongate myself...in theory) I have noticed my bra straps falling down alot..it is getting very annoying! Those tree roots are a killer, I feel that! Still have random roots from last year's tree removal that I keep finding.

Shrink cool on the juicer, I have one, you've reminded me. Might be a good way to use my produce that's a bit softer than I want to eat. When do you head out into the wilderness? Are you looking forward to the adventure? And I did read and appreciate what you said about your folks on the pre-crash thread. Sounds like you are really doing some good mental work! Good for you!

Vday me neither, on the Y, haven't ever been...And hey, what are you doing now that you're a college grad?

Paint Stay strong with the DH situation...that can be rough! I can imagine it all too well. Mine gets in phases where he is quite opinionated about MY activities too. It is almost always HIS issues and he is looking for an outlet (me) and our division of labor gets skewed since my job is much more flexible and he thinks I have more time to do home-care stuff. Partly true...but still...I have needs (3fc!!!)

I am sure there are good Ethiopian food joints in the Chicago area. It is fantastically tasty food! Really very good. Worth a try! Injera is the Ethiopian staple bread and its sort of like a big, spongy crepe, its a huge flat bread that the other dishes are served on like a table top. To eat the other dishes pieces of injera are torn off and used to scoop up mouthful. Sometimes they bring extra rolled up little strips you can use as a spoon. The bottom bread soaks up all the flavors and is just amazing. Lots of variety of flavors and spices, some curry, some hot, some fresh like tomato and parsley and lemon. Lamb, chicken and beef are used but mainly vegetables and legumes. I live in a very multi-cultural city and have friends of all varieties so I try a lot of foods from other cultures. My church is also has a predominance of Middle Eastern people, so Arabic food is one of my favorites and I've learned to make a lot of dishes over the years. I also borrow traditions and foods I like, for instance, I almost always include a couple cups of chopped parsley in every green salad I make.

Hey, have fun on your Wii!!! How's the hand healing up?

Suite good job being OP! You are encouraging me too! It DOES feel good and its a matter of choices and planning! Sounds like you have a good plan for this week! Yeah on the no spoon thing...the woman who owns the restaurant we went to is very nice and accommodating, I've been to some where it was not cool to ask for silverware...but Oh well...a WW has to do what a WW has to do...I figure I am the CUSTOMER unless I am in someone's home! Happy office mate situation it sounds like, hope that works out well. And hooray for the router and being outside! That will be much nicer.

I am looking forward to some SUN and being outside on my deck. It is cold and icky here currently. Moving my brother's fam went ok last night. I ended up loading up a couple of trucks and then babysitting and making dinner instead of unloading on the other end. Fine by me! I did NOT have the pizza that was there and DID go raid the garden dregs to put together a great big fresh salad. I chopped down all the last of their parsley too and brought some home with me for this week. I have not seen the inside of the new house yet, but I'm sure I will sometime this week.

We will be babysitting their Boxer (big baby of a dog) while they are on vacation next week. I plan to walk that dog alot and get her very good about laying on a bed. She has been allowed to be on the furniture at their old house (but never is at ours) and they've bought new furniture for the new house so she will now be banished to a proper dog-bed. Auntie (aka opinionated dog-trainer) will have her leaping into her new dog bed with glee by the time she goes home (I hope). Half the battle is giving her enough exercise so she is tired and wants to just crash.

Well, hopefully another strict OP day for me...so far so good. I've made dinner already for tonight: big green salad, Italian-style turkey meatloaf, corn on the cob (waiting to go in the pot) and I was nice and made DH a rhubarb pie this AM before I went to work. He is lucky today I probably will have about 1/4 cup serving of it and call it good. Yesterday I ended up with 47 grams of FIBER! WHOO HOO! Amazing. And its paying off I think. Trying for at least 30 today, lots of vegetables!

Ok it WAS morning when I started that post...

Faerie your wedding plans sound great, good job giving away some tasks to family to get them involved and have stuff done that you don't have to worry about. It's hard to give control away, sounds like you are thoughtful in how you are incorporating them. Glad it is coming together for you! ENJOY the India experience! And you get paid!

Mod nasty allergies-hate 'em! Hope you start to feel more comfortable soon! (I will share my "changed my life" product-I do this once a day without fail, 2x a day when I feel like I'm getting a bug. I went from 15 sinus infections a year due to allergies down to one a year with the seasonal change. I know I'm giving out lots of advice un-asked but this has been truly miraculous for me Sinus Rinse)

Manick - My problem is that one of my sinuses is much smaller than it should be. So no matter what, I'm constantly going to get stuff stuck in it and it will constantly be draining during allergy seasons. I will look into it though!

suite - My anchor is my Leukemia & Lymphoma Society wrist band. It reminds me exactly why I am doing this - to be the healthiest I can be and to live a long and full life!

Mod - Aww Take care of yourself with those allergies! Yeah, I'm heading to India for business, but I'm going to enjoy my weekends. I'm pretty sure I love Indian food if it's anything like the restaurants I've been to around New Haven. (Me not liking food? Not worried about that! ) I don't know about sanitation... I'm open to a new experience. So, we'll see where it takes me. And life is different for people around the world. I'm not scared of that. Nor am I immediately grossed out. But even I have my limits, so we'll see (And I love your anchor! <3 It's very personal.)

Manick - Glad the move went OK. I have yet to try Ethiopian, but I think I remember there being a restaurant in the area... I'll have to look into it. (And avoid the massive amounts of bread!) Glad you're having a wonderful OP day

Chey I was thinking about you last night when listening to the news...hope things are sorting out for you there! Take care of yourself...sounds VERY stressful!!! I s'pose there's always things to be grateful for, but natural weather stuff is really scary and makes you feel pretty helpless. Sounds like a great, smart plan on the photo storage. Good reminder to us all!

Suite - Excellent job on OP! That is such a good feeling when the points are added up and equal exactly what you had planned, or end up on point! I get a sense of accomplishment - kinda like winning against an opponent in a sporting venue.. lol. Me (boxing champ), K.O. bad food choices! YAY! LOL Ya.. I think you are right - the trip would take a while.. lol

Faerie - I am so excited for you - this is going to be an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life! I am sure that you will do fine on the food end. I was glad to hear that you would be having some personal time to explore. How cool!

Paint - My feathers got a little ruffled at your mentioning your DH putting a time limit on your computer activities. Mine did that too at one time. What it ended up being was that he felt I was paying too much attention to my online friends and not enough on him. He didn't have any hobbies, or things he was interested in so while I was on the computer, he had nothing to do. Well, we found some other things he could do that he liked doing so we are cool now.

I am jealous about your Wii! I have been trying to get one for months now but haven't had any luck! They have then online, but typically the cost is $100 more - we may end up doing that, but feel once we do - they will be all over the place.

Mod - I feel for you about your allergies. I have them as well and take a prescription for them starting just this year and that helps so much!

Stitches - Thanks for the kudos! I am pretty proud of myself so far. I am looking at this differently than I have prior though. I am more intense about it, but also calmer. Did I read that you haven't had a cig for 2 days??!!?? That is sooooooo awesome! Good going! Just 5 more days and the nicotine will be out of your system! UGGG but it is tough - I will never quit trying to quit.. one day I will get it right.. LOL

Beach - I am going to make that recipe on Thursday. It sounds sooo good and as long as I don't tell my daughter it is ground turkey in it she will eat it.. LOL - she has this thing against turkey, but can't tell if she is eating it or not if it is in stuff. I too am happy to hear positive stuff about your DH...you have done so well during this time!

[taking a break.. man you all chat a lot! ]

Manick - you nut! Took you most of the day to post huh? LOL A boxer! I love boxers, they are so cool and have a lot of energy. My parents had a boxer once and they are very protective of their families & friends.

To ally your worries - we are ok. Being in the country on a high bluff that has sandy soil, we aren't experiencing the flooding that our little town has or the larger cities to the north and south of us. Their water plants and sewage plants have been shut down - they are on a no drink-no flush warning. They were announcing on the radio for people to NOT wash clothes. All restaurants have been shut down by health inspectors....and the weather man just announced on the TV that another 7-9 inches of rain is expected on Wednesday and Thursday. The ramifications of these storms and subsequent flooding are going to have far reaching effects on the whole nation, I am afraid. A lot of the corn crops around here and in other states are totally flooded out and it is too late in the season to replant. Even soybeans are going to be to late to replant soon.

mod.. have you ever thought of using a neti pot? healingdaily.com/exercise/neti-pot.htm Watching Dr. Oz on Oprah one day they were talking about those and how they help sinuses. Before I started on my allergy medicine, I was considering getting one.
_________________________________________

Ladies - I have been craving a candy bar now for a week! I am really close to just getting one and getting over the craving. I have done all that I can think of to get over the craving, and in the short time it has worked, but it is becoming an obsession! I am close to going online and figuring out the points of my favorite one and then working it into my daily points.. lol The only thing that is really stopping me is that when I went shopping with my daughter the other day, I did buy new jeans that were in a size 18!!!! I am in the teens! They are a little snug, but not overly so.

Vacation is going good - getting a lot of stuff out of the way and scheduling appts during the day for next week. I need new glasses, and my teeth fixed, so next week is busy with that. This week is house cleaning/catching up and painting a couple of rooms. I figure with all of that this week activity every day, I am getting in my 30 minutes of exercise plus.. oh, that reminds me - I need to update the June challenge thread! I have totally spaced that off!

Well.. enough gabbing from me.. hope everyone had a great day and will have an awesome OP day tomorrow!

Chey - So sorry about all this not-so-fair weather happening around you. The candybar craving: it's been a week, I think it's fair to say that it's a true craving and not just an urge. Plan it in for a time that you know you will eat it slowly and enjoy it. Make it worth the time to savor it. The 18's will still fit You already know the candy is a once in awhile treat. Oh, but pay attention to your reaction to having the candy, too. For me, if it's a planned treat, I'm very satisfied with it. But, some people do not do well with even a planned taste. Trial and error. I still think "Go for it!"

Just a few minutes to reply:

Faerie: so excited for you...hope you have a Super Time, and those wedding plans are falling into place. Yes, I love those baggy clothes, so nice to actually be able to buy off the rack, and not settle, because that's the only one that will fit, very cool to have choices. My next shopping trip will be so much more enjoyable than this time last year. I really like that there less of me to Love, and I'm letting myself be who I know I am inside, but hide behind so may pounds, afraid to show people that I'm worthly! So deep, sorry I kinda got off track! I just like the newer improved me better!

Suite: Glad you now have a new cubby mate, I feel the same way, don't like to eat in front of people who aren't eating, or the old me that sometimes creeps in and says, "I know what you're thinking I should not be eating..." I do feel self conscience when others are watching me eat. need to work on that..

Manick: I work 3rd for a Generic Drug Company, I mostly do paperwork and walk alot since it's a big warehouse, and nothing is close, so I do get in plenty of walking, but it's very low intensity, so doesn't really count for much, but it does get in my daily 10,000 steps that I've set for me. So that's a good thing. Yes my upper thighs and hind end are very sore, those roots really put up a fight, but it's a good sore, it's kinda nice in a way, to have that soreness as a reward for working your muscles to their max.

modkitten: feel better, but the bad season has just started for you, hope the spray does help a bit. WTG on OP, and your new driveway sounds almost perfect, hope they complete all the other stuff, so you can really enjoy the whole driveway.

vday: Hang in there, and I do hope the sink is in for you. Let me know if you do check out the Y, I've always wanted to go to a gym, try something new, like a spin class, but still have body image issues, just want to know if it's user friendly. Good Luck getting back to your normal routine ASAP.

Chey: how's that vacation going, enjoying your time off?

Paint: Sorry that your DH doesn't like you on the computer, just stop by when you can, will leave the light on for you!! Enjoy that new saddle, when the weather cooperates, and Super on the Wii, hope you enjoy your workouts, I hear they can really make you have an intensive workout, my son has one, but those electricly gagets, I just don't get it, never have and don't really want too, I would rather pop in a DVD or go for a nice long walk, but that's me, and none of my family understands it!

BB: Thanks for the recipe, looks yummy! Your new body image made me laugh, I'm sure your DGD thinks you look most beautiful, skinny arms and all!

*********
well not a great sleeping day, only 2hrs, TOM is now here, after a killer headache yesterday, with the whole achy soreness from my fighting those roots, or maybe just my visitor, each month gets a bit worse, must be getting to "that" age, oh well... {sorry I was so chatty, blame it on the lack of sleep} and now I must get ready for work, have a great night everyone-

Thanks for the support Fairie... lol - I looked it up. It would be 5 points! I keep thinking about what I could actually eat for 5 points and that candy bar isn't looking so good. I have a friend who is on WW and she decided to reward herself with a treat that she used to have on a regular basis. She worked it into her points and it made her sick. She was telling me that she had been eating so healthy that she thought her body was rejecting the treat.. lol. She tells me she will actually have a physical reaction to the foods she used to eat that she doesn't eat anymore.

Stitches - so far the only thing that is resembling a vacation for me is the ability to not to have to turn on the alarm clock before I go to bed at night. That in itself is an awesome feeling . Other than that it is going ok. I really needed the time away from work, but I am sure that next week I will be itching to get back as there is A LOT of stuff waiting for me.
