So far in glancing at my books I don't see how many points i can have for the day...Can someone please tell me how to figure it out for the flex plan.

Just got Dining Out Companion, Meal Survival Guild, Complete Food Companion and a Points Calculator...but no directions on how to get started with points..How many do I get a day...

Please explain...and thanks loads...

Do you have the Week 1 booklet? It should have a quiz in there that you take in order to determine your daily target.

Did you get an at-home kit from Weight Watchers, did you go to a meeting, or did you buy a used set from someone? If you ordered a used set from someone, the book with the quiz in it could be missing. If you ordered an at-home kit, it is in the at-home guide.

Hope you find it!

Is this a new WW booklet?
Mine can't be more than a year old and I didn't have the quiz just the table.

No, this quiz has been around for awhile. There are two different book #1's. The one with the quiz in it gives an overview of the Flex & Core plans, as well as explaining goal weights and rewards along the way.

If you mean that your booklet only has a height/weight chart that determines how many points you get than it's more than a year old. WW now takes into account that our lives are different, and we require different nutritional needs based on many factors, not just our height & weight.

I did WW a year and a half ago and could only do 24 points a day. I just took the new quiz and got 27 points a day, even though I weigh 10 pounds less than when I started a year and a half ago (I gained back most of the weight.).
Does that make sense? 27 points a day sounds better than 24, lol!

is your point calculator the sliding kind? if so , your activity point finder should be in the reverse side from the food point finder. if it's not there, i'm not sure what to tell you. you gain activity points based on weight, level of activity , and the length of time of your activity. if you do the same activity daily and you know how long and if it is light(singing and talking during it), moderate(sweating after 10 minutes and hard to sing) ,heavy(can't talk at all) then maybe i could look at home and see how many points it is for you.

did you read in your material that you get 35 flex points for the week that have nothing to do with activity. they are just extra incase you want a treat, you can use them anytime or you don't have to use them at all. in your journal there should be 35 numbered boxes per week for you to check off and those are your flex points.

I'm so very sorry, but I had to delete the posts that included copyrighted Weight Watcher info. Several months ago, I posted that very same info and it was promptly deleted by the administrators to prevent a possible lawsuit from WW against this website. Again, I'm sorry about having to delete it, but we sure don't want this place closed down! What would we do without it, right?

Jessica - no problem at all, hon. As I said, I did the very same thing. We were just trying to be helpful, lol. It's ok to post some info from the books, if it isn't word for word. For example, it's okay to say to talk about the Healthy 8, if you don't type it word for word.

wifey - I never have trouble eating all my points. That's what got me to my highest weight in the first place, lol. Maybe some of the others can be helpful to you. Good luck!
