Default Help - Kettle Corn

My company just gave us each a bag of kettle corn for Valentines day. I am starving. How bad do you think it is??? Any ideas?

Thanks

Dawn

I am not sure... But I thought it is up there with movie theater popcorn (which is V, V Bad)...
Give it away... Throw it away!
It only tastes good at fairs when it is fresh out of the kettle!!

~sigh~ My whole family has a 'thing' for popcorn... We all like to eat VERY large servings...

I searched on google... I am dying to know the right answer to this - and I am finding all kinds of answers... It seems like it depends on what kind of oil it is cooked in and how much was used, etc.

I bet if you could limit yourself to just one cup... it wouldn't be that bad?

I found this:
Seven cups of kettle corn, a sizable portion, contains only 500 calories.

Why don't you just throw it out? You know it can't possibly be good for you. Corn, sugar, butter....why do that to yourself? Go eat an apple or take a walk and you'll feel better. You can do it.

Just looked it up online. Surprisingly, 1 cup of many varieties of Kettle Korn is 1 point. The small FF 100 calorie packs are 2 pts.

Measure out 1 cup and give away the rest to a needy friend

Well, I have absolutely no will power. I ate about half of my bag.(approx2 cups) So, I hope its really not that bad, otherwise, I am way into my flex bonus points.

Thanks everyone.

Dawn drink lots of water and move on. Now that you've eaten some maybe you can feed the birds with what's left. Don't get hung up on it, learn from it. Maybe next time you'll do it differently.

The important thing is to get back on your program, remember, it's only one meal/snack/whatever, get right back on with your next meal.

Thanks for the support Keli. It really helps to have everyone give encouragement. I am back on program and did manage to lose at weigh in, so maybe I wasnt too bad after all. I will run the other way if they give out kettle corn again. It is going to be a red flag for me. I love the stuff and have no control with it.

Thanks again.
