Why do you think you'll be successful this time: I can actually say I am mentally sound and by that I don't mean NOT CRAZY! lol! I went through so many 'Diets' and truly believe I couldn't change because I wasn't ready to give up my daily binges because food was medication to me. General location: Ontario, Canada

Occupation: Copy editor

Birthday: November 22

Marital status: Married

Children/grandchildren: 16-year-old son

How long have you been on WW/Flex: returning member; this time, 10 days

How much weight do you hope to lose: 35lbs

What do you do for exercise: Treadmill, elliptical

What foods help you stay OP: 1-point veggie soup; egg whites

Why do you think you'll be successful this time: A different attitude: previously I've always wanted the weight gone asap; this time, I swear I'll be happy if it's just a pound a week. Attending meetings, this site.

What is the biggest obstacle between you and success: Allowing my emotions to rule my mind.

How will/did you overcome this obstacle: Positive self talk.

What do you like to do for fun: Read, cook, travel.

What type of music do you like best? Lots. I listen to pop/rock on the car radio, country music on weekend mornings, disco (yikes!) when working out, Motown and even what my son calls rap "lite"!

If you were on a deserted island for a month, by yourself, what 3 (only 3) items (not people) would you want with you? Good (fat) book, sunscreen, blanket.

Other comments: Hey, chickies, I've been a member of 3FC for ages; I was going to WW when I joined, and I lost down to 159 on that try. But I threw in the towel and hey presto - gained it all back plus four more!

I rejoined 2 weeks ago and this time I'm sticking to it!! No more slacking off My hat is off to all those who can do this without anything to keep them accountable; I seem to need that. Anyway, the first weigh in was good - down 4.8.

By the way... navigating around here is a bit tricky. Will there be a designated forum for PointsPlus?
