First I want to thanks Sweetiepie and Leena for having such wonderful imaginations with their low carb shakes~~ these sound SO GOOD! Cant wait to try them out
PLEASE NOTE~~ WHEN YOU SEE THEM CALL FOR 2 BLOCKS OF PUMPKIN WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IS FROZEN THE PUMPIN IN AN ICE CUBE TRAY AND THEY USE IT THAT WAY~~~
Basic Shake
( patterned after Sweetiepie's shake)
1/3 cup of half and half
2-3 T of heary cream and water or Sugar free syrup of choice to equal 1/3 of a cup
1 oz. of cream cheese
1/2 t. vanilla
2 pkts of sweetner
1 scoop of Protein Power
4-5 ice cubes
1/8 t. Xanthan Gum ( added to make a little thicker)
Carbs for this shake after taking fiber out ~ 4.5
Protein grams~ 24.5
After making the basic shake add the following to make different flavors:
PUMPKIN SPICE:
2 blocks of frozen pumpkin ( ice cube size)
1/4 t. pupmkin pie spice
1t. sugar free maple syrup
pinch of salt
You can make your own pie spice :
2T of Cinnamon
1t. ginger
1/2 t. cloves
BUTTERFINGER SHAKE!!!
Add a5 more grams of carb to the basic recipe
1 T. Dutch Cocoa powder
2 T peanut butter
YORK PEPPERMINT PATTY: Add 1 gram of carb to the basic shake
1 T. of cocoa powder
peppermint extract to taste ( usually 1/8-1/4 teaspoon)
MOUNDS SHAKE: Add 3 more carb grams to the basic shake
1 t. of Cocoa powder
4 blocks of coconut milk to replace the ice cubes
coconut extract to taste
Chocolate Banana: add 1 gram of carb to the basic shake
1 T. of Cocoa powder
1/2 t. banana extract
Blueberry:add 5.2 grams of carb to the basic shake
1/3 cup of blueberries
Lemon extract to taste
EGGNOG SHAKE: NO EXTRA CARBS TO BASIC SHAKE
1 tsp. of rum extract
pinch of salt
add a little sweetner
top with nutmeg!
