The Ring Upon My Finger
My wedding band.
I don't even remember when I took it off. It was getting tight, uncomfortable. I didn't want to have it altered. I just knew that one day I would lose the weight, and it would fit again. This morning, I did a search and finally found it. And it fits! If anything, it's a bit on the loose side.
I'm wearing my wedding ring again. /happy dance!

Congratulations, I know how good this must feel. I wasn't able to wear mine for at least 2 yrs. Had plans to get them resized and just never got around to doing it. I am thankful now that I didn't. Mine are so loose now that when my hands gets soapy they slip right off. I may end up having them sized smaller now.

Thanks everyone.
This actually was a pretty good weekend for me, even given that I've been in kinda of a stall for a while. I wore a new outfit, black skirt and brown top. Size large on both, after years of having to wear 2X or 3X. I asked my husband what he thought about it, and he gave his usual perfunctory "Ya, fine, whatever" repsonse. Then he glanced at me, and actually did a double take. "Wow... You really have lost alot of weight! Wow, you really look great!" He's been telling me all along that he can't really see the weight loss because he sees me everyday, and issue I also have. But I guess this outfit drove it home to him for the first time. Later on he actually told me "You know, I might have to wonder if other men are going to be looking at you. I might have to start treating you better so someone doesn't steal you away!"
It's out of character for him to say things like this. I was impressed!

Again, thanks everyone. It's nice to be able to share some good news. If someone had told me when I started that these things would happen, I would have laughed in their face, I'm sure. But slow and steady does win the race!
