So, I joined the gym probably 6 weeks ago with the intention to take group classes....and I have never been able to gather the courage to go. Well, with DH's encouragement Monday I went to Boot Camp, got my butt kicked and loved it! Yesterday I went to another Hi/Lo impact and sculpting class that went for 90 minutes. I did most of the workout Lo impact since I couldn't jump anymore, but I finished both of them and they were HARD!! I'm so happy I could do it, I know this is going to make a difference and help me break into the 170's before August is up. Yey!!!
Congratulations! I personally only use my gym for the aerobics/fitness classes. I can't just go there and do machines. I have a lot of respect for people that can do the machines as their workout, but for me I find that after 2 weeks I'm telling myself "I'm not enjoying this, I'm not going anywhere" and it doesn't last. Group classes are so much fun, and the people around you are motivation. They change routines constantly; every day is different. I know its something that I can do for years to come, and that's what it's all about, right?
