I was on the phone with my mom today and when I decided to get serious and lose weight I started weight watchers four months ago she went to the first meeting also and then quit. Well I continued and have lost almost 20lbs in the last four months and she is now motivated to start losing the weight also because I did it! I am shocked that I am actually starting to motivate people. I had no desire at all to excercise today after working all day but after what my mom told me I decided to exercise and continue on to my goal. I just now realized I am not only doing this for myself, but others are watching me for motivation!! I never thought I would motivate anyone. It feels great!!

Oh and my neighbor stopped by my garage sale this weekend and I haven't seen her in a few months and the first thing she said was oh my god you have lost a lot of weight!! It feels good to say "Yes I have!!!"

That's awesome! It does feel good to make people think differently! I work with a girl that will start to buy a candy bar, but when she looks at me she buys gum or water or something...lol. She hasn't totally come to the green side, but it's a work in progress...lol. Makes me feel good that she's thinking about it! Specially since she just had a baby and isn't feeling too great about herself...she KNOWS she can do something about it!
