I don't make goals saying how much weight I'll lose by when... but I do make exercise goals.. if they include a date and I reach goal before the date.. I push forward to see how much I can do before the date I set. It really is an incentive.
If you are planning to set another weight loss goal I think you shouldn't base your goal on this past one.. the journey seems to always be different.
How about a different kind of goal? My last goal was about how far I would walk in 3 months. My current goal is to be able to do a downward facing dog WITH both of my heels flat on the floor. (yoga) I don't know when this will happen.. but I am getting better so.. maybe soon
I love doing goals this way.. it is so rewarding.
