Default 3.7 kg gone in 40 days

I'm breaking my weight loss journey into 5 week intervals, and assessing my progress this way.

July's been a difficult month; it's been bitter cold here, with quite a few social events, crazy hunger, and a trip to Sydney. So 35 days has turned into 40, with only 25 days spent on an actual diet! (only a 62.5% success rate here)

Naturally I didn't lose 5kg in 5 weeks. But 3.7kg in 40 days is quite a good result, considering all the obstacles I faced. My waist is also under 40 inches for the first time in ages!

This next 5 week period will hopefully get me from 93.2 kg to 88.2 kg (past Onederland). I'm aiming to stick to the diet 100% but we shall see. I have a number of film shoot days coming up and I will have to resist student catering of pizzas, etc and bring my own food. It's shaping up to be a stressful semester with lots of work due, and fast.

Congrats! You've done a great job and overcome many obstacles in the past 40 days!
And as someone who lives in northern Canada- I've got to ask, what is 'bitter cold'? Bitter would be -40 to -55 here- thankfully we don't really ever see the -50's.

Bitter cold is just above 0C for us. We don't have double glazing, central heating or insulation though. Our homes are draughty and cold, and we are heat adapted people, so we really feel it.

An NSV - buying undies the next size down, in pretty colours and high cut, not the black, nanna style full briefs I've been wearing.
