S/C/G: 250/199/125

Height: 5'1"

Default The second 25.

Yesterday morning, the scale tipped in with a lovely '1' as the first number. (199.8, but it still counts!) It's not official official yet, that's Monday's weigh in and I've got no idea if it'll still be there due to normal fluctuations, but hot dang that felt good seeing that.

50 pounds gone in total. I found 50 lbs of stuff around the house, put it in a bag and then tried to carry it. Crazy hard.

20% of my body mass dropped in five months.

40% of my planned weight loss.

100% a numbers nerd.

To the next 25, I'm coming for you now.

The best help I can offer is stick with it, and dont sweat the small stuff. My official weigh in for the week is 201.8lbs, which is up nearly 2lbs from Saturdays low.

THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL.

I'll bounce above and below 200 for at least another week before I start to weigh in consistently below that, and even then there'll be a spike or two.

Dont let it discourage you, or lead you to restricting to unreasonable levels in an attempt to speed things up.

I allow myself treats (I have a weakness for cheese flavored popcorn) but they're treats, not regular things. Strict portion control and only occasionally. I remind myself no one ever died for a want of junk food.

It's not easy, but its doable. The support on this site is phenomenal, and helps a bunch but ultimately the buck (or the chip) stops with you.

Congratulations! That is an amazing accomplishment (several, actually)!

I can relate to the "numbers nerd" thing, though I wasn't one before. This last week I was doing all sorts of calculations to see what kind of weight loss I could expect. Drove dh nuts!
