Your current weight loss is on par with standards for losing healthfully, so way to go! However, goals are rarely achievable if they're not S.M.A.R.T. That is, Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time Bound. As others have said, weight loss tends to slow down at a certain point and there's also the possibility of plateauing - don't let this discourage you. Instead of looking at December as your end date for your total weight loss, why don't you get yourself a goal of 3 months and select an amount of weight to loose within the next three months that is suitable to you?

wow. First off Congratulations on your fabulous success. what you have achieved is amazing.
I do agree with the other posters, the weight loss is rapid in the beginning and it slows towards as you are closer to the goal, that being said if you are lifting weights you can increase your muscle mass and then you can burn more calories even at rest.

hmmmm, this has not been my experience. How does losing it slow determine whether or not you will later down the line fall off the wagon and start eating like a pig? I lost weight at turtle speed back in 2005 (47 pounds in 1 year) and as SOON as I hit my goal weight, I started the eating journey that led me to gaining double that lol. Slow or fast doesn't matter.....learning healthy eating habits do.

I don't think 67 lbs in 6 months is slow at all. It's awesome!!
