I am excited to announce (this is probably only exciting for me!) that I have been fast food free for over 6 weeks!! May not seem like much but to me that is a big deal. I have been cooking for myself or will go out to dinner on occasion, and I have a cooking night once a week with a friend and we trade off cooking for each other. Just wanted to share because it's really exciting to me!

WTG!! Fast food can be very addictive. This is a big deal!!

I think the trading off cooking night is a fabulous idea. I was just saying before I read your post how getting take out is as much about getting a break from cooking as it is eating. What a great solution!

Thank you ladies! I really appreciate the encouragement!! I've become, not obsessed, but inspired by cooking shows and I want to replicate and make stuff on my own, so cooking every other week for a friend gives me an opportunity to challenge myself and impress her, and vice versa. Plus conversation while eating helps to eat slower, and feel fuller, and vent the weeks work frustrations!
