Howdy all. I'm doing the Fitnessista's "Abs in April" challenge (she's a military wife who's a fitness instructor, she's my absolute favorite healthy living blogger of all time). This challenge is HARD!!! Every day you do a plank, and the time you hold it increases as the month goes on (with alternation back and forth between days to give you more of a rest, etc).
Yesterday was supposed to be a minute, 10 seconds. I just couldn't do it! I was so exhausted when I got home after my 12 hour shift I couldn't hold more than 30 seconds. And the first two times I tried today I couldn't make it. But then something roared to life and I was able to make it! So I did yesterday's and today's plank holds today.
I BEAT IT!
Silly, I know. But satisfying nonetheless.
