Just realized that I have a NSV as I was sitting here perusing the forums at 3FC. Surprise! Surprise!
So let me toot my own horn for a bit.
I had been hitting the boxing bags pretty hard lately. The tops of my knuckles have some scare tissue under the surface of the skin from kickboxing. They're not "boxer's knuckles" where the joints are deformed... yet... but I can feel the scar tissue move against the tops of my knuckles and rub against the bone if I type or make a fist. It is a WEIRD (and slightly painful) sensation but... kind of a goal too.

It makes me feel so wickedly badass and strong and powerful especially when I know that I throw a good right hook. I'm pretty sure I can break someone's jaw. I just realize what a big deal this is when I thought back to yesterday when I was sitting at Starbucks. This pretty girl walked in, and I couldn't help but compare myself on a purely physical level on the basis of the trinity: Beauty Brains & Brawn... assuming our smarts were matched. And event though it is immature to see things as a competition, especially things we don't have a TON of control over... I thought we were pretty matched and it kind of made me sad but then I realize that I have something she probably doesn't...

Badass chicks are great. They don't take any of your ****, dated a girl who practiced Kyokushinkai (bare-knuckle, full contact karate) and she was kind of scary even at 115# and 5'0" LOL. You aren't allowed to hit back, so you just have to wait until they tire themselves out on the ropes or try to wrestle them down.

Congratulations. Not at all a weird goal, guys I used to practice BJJ with would get excited when they start to get cauliflower ears even though they're pretty ugly looking lol. You don't want to know what drains out of those ears.
