Default 40 pounds GONE!

I, a person who had little to no hope back on January 1, have lost 40 pounds!!!!! I began my New Year's Resolution with a bit of a whimper...but on January 25, made the decision to eat correctly and what I call clean eating. I have not wavered since that day. The first three weeks were, in a word, Awful! I honestly felt like I imagine a drug addict must feel when going through withdrawal! I surged onward, however, and one day, about three weeks in, I realized that I felt OK! I no longer snore, I can move easier, I can cross my legs, and I am enjoying my "friends' who I have "met" here at 3Fat Chicks. I enjoy trying to get out of the next decade thread before the other people on the thread! They are a great bunch and very motivating! I have a long way to go, but I plan to enjoy the journey...not to mention the destination!!!!!

I have many more pounds than you to lose....I expect that my weight loss pace will slow considerably as the pounds come off. Just have to keep on, keepin' on!

Wow what a great accomplishment you have achieved and you seem to have great enthusiasm to continue.I can just feel the determination in your words and know you will reach your goal.
I white knuckled it for the first 3 weeks as well and understand your excitement.I only had about 20 pounds to lose and lost 25 lb.I have settled into a maintenance routine and do not seem as consumed with hunger as I once was.I with you continued success.
