That's an excellent idea! I never thought about setting a mini goal. I just know I have about 67 lbs to lose which seems a bit daunting considering how many times I've tried to lose weight. :-)

Started IP March, 2014
WI #1-#23: -14.4
WI #24: -7.2

#1: 169 lbs by Sept 20 (day before triathlon)
#2: 159 lbs by Oct 20 (day before family visit to South Carolina and Maine)
#3: 150 lbs by Nov 27 (Thanksgiving Day)
#4: 142 lbs by Dec 25 (my Christmas gift to myself)
#5: 135 lbs by Jan 30, 2015
#6: 129 lbs by Feb 27 (my FINAL goal)

That is a great idea! In my food journal I keep a record of how much I want to loose each week and how I have done in the past. It's a nice way to visually remind myself of where I am going and that I don't need to do it all at once. Plus it is interesting to see the patterns throughout my journey.
