Default mini goals for me

I have lost 8 pounds.


My next mini goal is 10 pounds. I currently weigh 253.

i am new to this forum. my highest weight was 360lbs. i have lost 116lbs so far on my atkins journey. i have stayed on induction for about a year now. my goal is 180lbs. good luck to you. you guys are very inspirational to me.

Congratuations!!

At one point when I was losing weight, I kept a stash of things that weighed the same amount as the amount I had lost. It helped me appreciate those "mini" goals. Maybe you could find something that weighs 8 pounds?

way to go!! mini-goals are a great motivation tool!

yoyoma - there's a website that does something like that! google "i lost what" & you can enter how many pounds you lost, & it will show you an example of something that weighs that much. not quite the same as carrying it around & feeling how heavy it is, but kinda the same idea.
