First minor victory feels major!
So I've never been great at dieting, I don't have ANY willpower whatsoever. My weight has yo-yo'd all my life, and right now it's at the highest it's ever been.
After my dad had a particularly harrowing doctor visit it really hit me that we need to change our habits in my family. After looking at what diets would suit our needs and lifestyle, I landed on South Beach. I was pretty sure it would be a bust, since as I've mentioned I can't commit to anything. Especially when it's such a huge lifestyle change. I mean...I can clear through a litre of soda a day, no problem.
I'm proud to say that I'm through the first week, and I'm starting to enjoy it! I haven't cheated once, which is strange for me. I just know if I have that one sip of Pepsi I'll fall down the rabbit whole, you know?
I'm down eight pounds and I feel great! Hooray!
