Default Almost gave up..then I saw this!

I had hit a plateau, and was not losing any weight. In fact, I gained 7 pounds last month. I've lost all but one pound of it now. However, I was looking through old pictures last night and I realized how far I have come, and that I would never want to go through the feeling of being as big as I was again. So, today I am sharing this photo with y'all to let you know that no matter where you are, know that any and every goal is attainable if you believe in yourself and are patient! The first picture was taken 2.10.2012 and the second was 01.30.2012. Almost a years difference, but I did not start losing until July. So, keep on doing a good job, even if you hit a bump in the road..you'll get back on track!

Nice! Maybe it's hard to tell because you're wearing loose clothing, but i don't think you look like you're 187. I'm also 5'7" and i think you look similar or smaller than me (i'm around 160). Anyway, good luck and keep going!!

Well said!!! And great job.

I have a "history" of being able to get down to around 230 and getting totally stuck. So often that is when I have given up and started gaining it all back again,

So here I am again... at a two month plateau stuck at just the same place as usual. Except this time I am not giving up and planning to hang right on in here!!!

Thanks for sharing. I feel "okay" and have been tempted to stop since I keep cheating on weekends, doing great during the week, and thus staying exactly the same. My husband wants me to stop but I want to reach goal. I do feel so much happier and healthier. And you served as motivation. Thanks! I am extra motivated to stay on track now.

I joined 1/24/13 and as of today I have lost 7lbs, I would love to have a huge difference. Water weight excetera, I feel like I'm stuck but I've made huge improvements to my diet and my family as well. I read all the posts and I know I am not alone, and believe me it helps.
