Cleaning out the bedroom closet as the last week before I move is upon me. Found a pair of never-worn black leather boots I'd bought online years ago that never zipped over my huge calves, so I'd stuffed them up on a shelf intending to resell them or something. (Chances are I was so down that they didn't fit that I never wanted to look at them again.)

Well- they zipped up easily tonight! And they look awesome!

Granted, I haven't worn heels this high (about 3" chunky) in close to 5-6 years, so I'm hoping I don't break a leg when I wear them

Congrats! Isn't that a great feeling? The same thing happened to me recently. My favorite leather boots used to be so tight, but now they're loose and even flapping against my calves as I walk. And I don't mind it at all

One of the things I am most looking forward to is wearing boots - they have never fit me well due to my calves. Congrats to you!
