First day here, and a mini goal!
Hi! I only joined yesterday, but I thought I would post about my mini goal.
December last year I weighed in at a huge (for me) 85 kilos (Or 187 pounds, sorry I'm Australian so pounds are foreign for me!) which I had piled on since moving out of home and interstate. I ended up moving back home and trying to lose the weight, I managed to get down to 74 (or 163) in just a few weeks only to put almost all of back on because of the WAY I did it. I lost it too quickly from basically starving myself amoung other things, and when I finally stopped my habits all went back to how they used to be. I want to try again, but in a healthy, sustainable way...so that's why I am here! I started 2 weeks ago at 78 (171) and I am now at my first mini goal, 75 (165) and hoping to get down to my final goal of 60 (132). I hope I can do it....for good this time!! I want to post link here to some photos of my current weight, which I am going to use as before photos for motivation, but it won't let me post it yet. I wish I had proper before photos from when I was 85kg, but I didn't want to look at a mirror let alone take photos back then! Still not super comfortable with these, but I think it will really help my motivation. I will add the link once I am able to, but for now my photos are linked in my blog. Wish me luck! xxJess |
Congrats, and welcome! Doing it the healthy way does seem to take a bit more time than some of the less healthy ways, but so far it seems a lot easier to maintain. Good luck on your journey!

You can do this! Use these boards for motivation and even when you fall off your plan, members are wonderful about picking you up or giving you a kick in the butt in the right direction.
