Default Down 2lbs!

Today was weigh in and I am down another 2lbs

Although the reasonable part of me knows the scale isn't the only measure of success, I admit I am a visual person so seeing the numbers come down little by little is extremely motivating to me.

I also noticed today that my jacket was a little looser around the chest. The flat boob problem was a little less obvious today - I was pretty happy about that too!

I bought a 6 pack of personal training sessions at my gym with the goal of learning how to properly use the weight training machines - today was my last session. Trainer said I've improved slightly over the 6 sessions so I was proud of myself.

Then he tried to sign me up for 1 year of personal training for a whopping $8000.00 (according to him - the deal of the century). I tried to quickly figure out how many mortgage and car payments that represented but I was still panting and light headed from the workout. I wanted to laugh in his face but he's a nice kid. Instead I said "I'll think about it". I have thought about it and it's still absolutely ridiculous!

Well that was my day, thought I'd share the good, the bad and the ludicrous!

Cheers everyone, happy weekend!

Geez, a personal trainer shouldn't cost that much. What about Get in Shape for Women? or Fitness Together? Those places have group sessions with a personal trainer to lower the cost.

Do personal trainers normally cost that much? That seems a bit excessive...
