I did it!! 10 mile hike in the Grand Canyon!!!
 

I'm so excited. I was terrified of doing this 10 mile hike in the Grand Canyon because of my knee issues from being overweight in the past! It DID hurt somewhat, but you know what? I made it! The entire way carrying my pack and everything. My husband carried my pack for a little bit, but that frustrated me because I wanted to do it on my own so I made him give it back to me lol. This was a goal I've been aiming for. Just to be in good enough shape to make it to the end on my own. I'm so happy that I accomplished this! I have about 29 more lbs. to go and I want to hit that so bad!! I've been screwing up since we've been on vacation and I want to jump back on track! SO here I go!

Well done! I've been to the GC and I could see that it's a real challenge for hikers, so your doing it is a terrific accomplishment.
