Default Today Only: Nola Celeste is 10% Off! (With Pictures)

I've officially lost 10% of my initial body weight. Some of the things that make me happiest about that:

- 3 inches off my waist
- An inch and a half off each thigh
- The skirt that now hangs on me in some photos is an 18 that used to be snug
- I now wear a 14 in any full-skirted style (grr, these big thighs!)
- I started off able to bike only 5 minutes; now I do 30 minutes a day
- I can now walk 3 miles a day with ease; I started at half a mile

As for the pictures, please forgive my filthy mirror. I was too excited about the 10% off thing to clean it before photos. As I mentioned, the skirt's a size 18 that I put on for illustrative purposes. The black tights and red T-shirt are my exercise clothes; believe me, I do NOT let these upper arms be seen outside the home.

I wish I had some true "befores" to compare, but these are a fair "during" phase:

Great job!
I LOVE to lose inches off my waist, it's my favorite spot.
Wow biking 30 minutes and walking 3 miles a day? You put me to shame. Best wishes.

Haha, no way do I do both every day! I'm just happy I can do either every day, considering where I started. I'm 41, totally sedentary, and used to smoke like a chimney, so even that tame amount of activity is good, considering.

And yes, I love to lose off my waist! My butt and boobs can stick around for a while as long as I keep losing at the waist.

Tiny waist, but still big boobs. My dear, you're getting into centerfold territory.

Also, what kind of care do you give your fingernails? They're wonderfully vampy-looking. I am inconsistent with mine. I go through neglectful periods, when they get dark crud under them from washing & cutting up lots of veggies, and I'm thankful if they're just clean, to periods when I'm willing to spend on weekly manicures, just to keep them in a neat shape. It's the final frontier of girlyness that I haven't yet entered.

Awesome! It's SOOOO fun to pull pants away from your body to show the difference (or wait, is that just me? ).

I wish I had taken more pictures along the way.

Also, nothing wrong with those upper arms, for real. They're not terrible, I promise!

Nice work there, Nola!!! 10% is a great milestone. Its proof you can do it.

I especially like the photo #2 from top. You are twisted a bit and it shows a flat tummy, a waistline and a curvy top and bottom. With all those assets, who's looking at upper arms?

Nails are looking good too. Is that polish from OPI's Barcelona collection?

I especially like the over the head shot. Beautiful curves and skin. Your arms are enviable - really.
