First NSV.
This one might be dumb but I was not sure how I would handle someone I care about trying to give me tons of weightloss advice until today. Thanks to 3FC I did not feel strange about just shrugging it off. I knew I would come here afterwards and just tell you guys and you would probably understand. When my brother, who has always been not just thin but muscular, started trying to give me advice I just agreed with him and commented that "Yes, I agree under normal conditions those sound like great ideas."
Here were his thoughtful brotherly suggestions:
*Join a gym and get a trainer. (I am extremely poor. Majority of them dont have child care. He knows this.)
*Dont run on treadmills, run on the road. (Road running is how I fractured my foot in the first place. No thanks. And once again, no child care.)
*Dont count calories just eat good food. (This would be where I stopped listening.)
*I dont know what this one was. I was looking at the label of something.
*Still looking at the calories on some label. He might have said "whey protein."
Me: "Oh thanks great ideas. See you later."
And I did not get offended or say anything mean to him. Yay me! - This would be the NSV actually.
