belated NSV
 

I found a pair of boxer briefs in my closet today and couldn't figure out why I even had them. Then I realized they were what I used to wear whenever I wore skirts/dresses cuz my thighs used to rub together so badly. In the summer I'd get blisters on my legs from the friction and heat. After finding those shorts, it dawned on me I can't remember the last time I had to wear them. It's a good feeling.

Congrats on your progress! I do the same thing with spandex bike/running shorts... can't wait until I can claim the same NSV! Good luck with the rest of your journey!

Thanks! Maybe it's silly to get so excited about it. But I can also where white skirts/dresses cuz I don't have to wear the shorts underneath (my boxer briefs are dark blue and would show through light colored clothes).

I used to have to wear tennis skirts throughout the summer to avoid this problem. I can remember many times actually crying because the blisters were so bad and, in some cases, TMI TMI TMI had busted and were dribbling pus. Definitely not fond memories. I certainly hope that I can avoid that same fate this summer by meeting my goals!

Ahh such a good one!
Along the same lines...last weekend I went out and wore over the knee boots and a short dress. As I left my house I thought, "OH no, I didnt even put baby powder on my thighs." I was already dreading what was to come.
On the long walk home I realized 1. I sure am walking up this hill pretty fast and 2. MY THIGHS ARENT TOUCHING! No aweful "chubrub" to deal with when I get home!
