I started out at 330, right after my mom was diagnosed with diabetes. It scared me into action. The last time I had weighed myself before that I was 290... which was also right before I moved into an apartment on my own. No family, no roommates, just me... and I ballooned up 40 pounds without even noticing.
My first goal was to get under 300, which happened in July, and then I slacked off through August and went back up to just over. Got under 300 again around the beginning of August, so that was mini-goal #1.
And now I'm below 290! I weigh less now than I did when I started living alone! It was a series of bad decisions and carelessness, that I won't repeat again. I actually saw 287 on the scale for the first time this morning. It was so exciting! So here we go, the next goal is to hit 275... wish me luck! I wouldn't be anywhere near as successful without the amazing people here at 3FC!
