Talking Finished 30-day hot yoga challenge, broke plateau!

This is my first ever Mini Goal post!

Last night I finished Day 30 of my 30-day hot yoga challenge. This consisted of going to a one-hour hot yoga class 30 days in a row with no break. I can't believe I did it!!

I have 4 lb to lose before I hit my first mini weight goal. 150 lb is what I set out to lose when I was 200 lb and first started Weight Watchers in 2003!! I lost about 35 lb over the years and just stayed at about 165 lb for the longest time (years even!).

Finally in April 2010 I decided to get serious, break through some personal barriers, and finally get on the path to get to my ultimate goal weight.

So since April 2010 I've lost about 15 lb or so, which is a great loss for me seeing as I'm the slowest loser on the planet!

This month alone I lost 7 lb and inches almost everywhere. I went down a size and finally fit into my goal jeans - AND I bought a new outfit that I've been wanting for literally years (a sweater dress and leggings, size medium!).

I am now 154 lb and soooo happy with the way I look and feel. Yoga has changed my life, and my life has completely changed food wise and attitude wise.

I still have a ways to go before I hit my ultimate goal weight of 130 lb, but the fact that I have accomplished so much in the past few months makes me so happy - but especially the fact that I was able to do a 30-day hot yoga challenge is the best, most exciting part to me!!

I'm so happy and excited to share that with you all!

Default Wow

I've read about 30 day hot yoga and I'm completely impressed that you could accomplish the whole 30 days! I'm not surprised that you lost weight--that much work and sticking with it would make it happen. Congrats on your accomplishment!
