Habits Sneak Up on You
 

The dress code at work changed from "Casual Friday" to "Business Casual" all week. I don't have that many jeans, so I went to Fred Meyer this afternoon to buy a pair and finish my grocery shopping.

In the past I have wound up at Fred Meyer on Sunday afternoons, searching for any pair of pants that would fit. Monday would be coming and all my regular pants were painfully tight. I'd stand looking at myself in the mirror promising that this was the last straw.

Today I went in and walked over to the table where the Levi's were stacked. I started looking through the styles for size 12. I did this for a few minutes before I stopped dead in my tracks.

Somehow I'd forgotten that I'm a size 6. :carrot:

I would love to have seen the smile that crossed your face when you realized this! What a great moment!
I have come down from a size 14 pant to now a loose size 10 pant. I still automatically go to the size 12 racks as well. Can't wait for those size 6's!

Man! That's great! I'm currently a 20/22, down from 24/26. I cannot wait to be a 14/16, or a 12, or 10...lord knows how I'll react when I hit single digits! Congrats to you!!

That is on of the most fun stories I've read to date! I'm a 12 now, and my goal is to fit in 8's universally. That's incredible. It would be fun to have such a moment. Size six though! Wow you are awesome!

Ha ha, awesome! I had a few moments like this, I still can't quite seem to believe when a single digit piece of clothing fits! Isn't it the best feeling of achievement?
